We want to use this space to reflect God's glory in our part of the world (Sullivan, Indiana). Our purpose is to connect people to Jesus, grow with them in the faith of our Savior, and live in step with the personality of the Holy Spirit. This website is not elaborate or flashy. There is nothing state-of-the-art here. We hope that if this website leads you to know us, you will also become better acquainted with Jesus of Nazareth, our Redeemer.
The pages following this page may help you understand who we are, what we believe, and how you can find us. The rest of this page shows some of our people in action.
This picture shows one of our golden couples sharing their story with our children. Leon and Catherine May mesmerized the children with tales of how their faith carried them through more than 50 years of joys and heartaches together. Mr. Leon and Miss Catherine have loved our children for decades and they occupy special places in our hearts.
We put a float in the 2006 Sullivan Corn Festival Parade. Sullivan weather is often hot and dry in September, but a cloudburst drenched the parade in bone-chilling rain. The crew was giving away bottled water and Dr. Pepper soft drinks as part of the float's theme: "Jesus - Just what the Dr. ordered.
The soggy volunteers couldn't find takers of cold drinks among the parage watchers in the frigid deluge. We ended up with a bottled water surplus that lasted for almost a year. Nevertheless, our crew had fun serving our community even if the service was not particularly well suited to the rainy environment.
One little soul found complete joy in the rain. Who says only ducks can enjoy such weather?
